Thoovanam Waterfalls

Thoovanam Falls is a popular waterfall of Devikulam, lying within Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. The waterfall is formed by river Pambar, which flows eastwards through the wildlife reserve. Unlike most of the reserve region, Thoovanam Falls remains open for tourists round the year.

Karimutti Forest Station to Thoovanam waterfalls is a  trekking trail that allows travellers to explore wildlife while venturing deep into the forest. Trekking through dry and deciduous forest provides a glimpse of several endemic and rare species.


  The Majestic Thoovanam waterfalls is a spectacular view for tourists and nature enthusiasts. Deep with in the Chinnar Wildlife sanctuary lies the spectacular Thoovanam water falls. The river Pambar flows eastwards through the sanctuary and forms the waterfalls. The enormous waterfalls on the Chinnar River, with its breathtaking silvery cascade are an unforgettable experience to the visitor.
